What is Litvak Attack?
A flaming hot all girl arsenal of rock and roll savagery?? Possibly, but at the very least, it's a group of true musical soul mates, sharing a common love of sound, beauty and strength.
There is no predictable story of long time school friends, they're suburban girls, streetwise at heart, who have come together with the purist of rock n roll intentions. They unknowingly maintain a natural raw edge, now resulting in some serious sonic and visual appeal, and they wont beg for your attention, as they are simply doing what they do best.
Like it or love it, this is "Litvak Attack".
Litvak Attack sport hard edgy guitars, solid driving bass, fierce definitive beats, and soaring melodic vocals. Their onstage dynamic and raw aptitude is a rarity on the local scene, being only one of a handful of all girl rock groups in this country. The members have all played and performed since their early teens, securing a respected quality of musicianship and song writing. Their hard guitar driven sound undoubtably binds the groups style, and the songs deliver an attractive diversity. The dynamics of the aptly titled "Aftershock" build a sonic landscape before awakening us to the failure of humanity, while the song "F**k You" cuts straight to the chase, exposing the unfaithful...and his dirty whore.
Being an all girl band, it's easy to compare to the likes of The Runaways, The Donnas, or Kittie, and there is no denying the same passion fuels Litvak, that has also fuelled their more seasoned peers.
However, beyond all the comparisons, these girls stand for something more...
"Litvak Attack" stand for all that is great about being young and willing to give it your all, despite your circumstance.
LITVAK ATTACK :: SOUND :: BEAUTY :: STRENGTH

Behind The Name: The Story Continues...
The band name "Litvak Attack" draws it's strength from "Lily Litvak", the Soviet female fighter ace of World War Two. Litvak was one of the worlds only two female fighter aces, and with 12 confirmed kills, she is the highest scoring in history. Some sources document her painting white lilys on each side of her fighter plane. She was so fond of flowers that she would also pick and carry them on her missions. The white flowers painted on her fuselarge became famous among the Germans. They knew better than to try to dogfight the familiar Yak-1 aircraft, and usually tried to make good their escape before Litvak got too close.
Lily Litvak was killed during combat on August 1st 1943 at the age of 21, her body was not discovered until 1979.
