CURL are UK sisters Heather and Megan Tilston. They write and produce their own music. These tracks are from their debut album, CONNECTION, which tries to capture some of what they consider to be their best songs written over the last 10 years. The album was recorded and co-produced by Roger Cotton at Roundel studios in Kent, UK in 2006. Sometimes known as the CURLygirls or CURLsisters, their sound has been described as acoustic honey with a bit of the blues, mellow tracks with classic sounds, sometimes country and a jazzy pop vibe, always melodic ... joy to the eardrums... Others say they have voices of angels! Have a listen, and see what you think... CURL want to thank everyone involved in the making of this album, particularly Roger Cotton at Roundel Studios (www.roundelstudios.co.uk) for his encouragement and support - and for his brilliant keyboards and electric guitar licks - and to all those other souls who played on the album, including Pete Stroud on bass, Hans Ferrar on drums and percussion and George Stevens also for percussion (how do you spell djembe..?!).
Making sense Sweet acoustic honey with strong lyrics, melodies and harmonies
FINE FINE is the first track from the CURL sisters debut album, CONNECTION. It's a song about love and loss - all the best tracks are, right? - but it's a positive song, upbeat and uplifting, perfect listening for a sunny day.
