Joe grew up in NY and played in several bands before forming Pressed Down, Shaken Together and Running Over with Paul Cuoco and Ralph Graham.

Joe has been blessed with the ability to write memorable lyrics, and has a voice that cuts to
the heart of the matter with a surgeon's precision,
a quality that can't be learned....

He moved to Nashville in the mid-eighties where he has continued writing and performing.
