I've been playing acoustic guitar and writing songs for many years but not many people have heard them, so this seems like a good way to get some feedback. I guess I've been influenced in my playing by the likes of Bert Jansch and John Renborn and in my songwriting by Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and others. I also loved the sound of the great Mississippi John Hurt. He probably influenced me the most when I first started playing. The music of Nick Drake has been a more recent discovery and influence for me.
