Back to the Shack Superb work by Gena on this meaningful well written and well produced song. very cool progression, rather like the vocals, kinda spunky and sarcastic at times. I guess that is the whole point given the songs bearing. guitar has something special and unique and the bass line is quite catchy. nice arrangement.....look for more of this from Gena .

Got Music? The purists won't like it because it's too produced and perhaps a little artificial in instrumentation; the A&R guys won't like it because the song lacks the big beat, is too cliched and could use an editor to pare it down some. But Ms. Perala doesn't hesitate to throw everything into this oft-accurate commentary on American life, and doesn't seem to care what anybody thinks. The song with its sparse guitar sound is undoubtedly beefed up when done live and becomes something else entirely. To me, that alone means Score!(thh)
voodoohead productions Gena has a number of projects going on and is also a published poet. Her grasp on her humanity is incredible and her understanding of the human heart beyond her years
