Eric the great is a song written to remember Eric, who is a busker who's been on the streets of Winnipeg playing music for many years. He's a man of the people and you can always count on him to put a smile on your face.

Eric the great tells the story of the semi-famous Winnipeg busker, who calls himself "Eric the Great". My writing partner and I thought that there needed to be a song written about him as he is in jail for something he didn't do. We had him call us from jail and we interviewed him about his life. I think the lyrics are self explanitory.
