Inspired by actual "ghosting" events in my life. The lyrics tell the story.

Ghosted

]There's no rhyme or treason, I don't have a clue;
some unintended slight; some misdirected spite.
Some accidental faux pas, And now I'm haunted by you
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
I call you on the phone, I text and email too;
No one is ever home, I don't know what to do.
When I saw you that last time, everything seemed fine.
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Bridge: Brings to mind that 'ol Soviet Union, where people were erased,
it's like we never ever existed. Gone, without a trace.
Some kind of inexplicable disgrace
There's no explanation, no famous final scene,
no chance for redemption, no chances to come clean . . .
I guess it's you, avoiding conflict, and from having to be an adult . . .
and leaving me twisting in the wind.
Ghosted again Ghosted again Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Thought you were my friend, not a cold, dark, dead end
I can't even make amends for what, I don't know: how did I offend?
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Ghosted again
Ghosted again (ghosted again),
ghosted again (ghosted again),
ghosted again (ghosted again)
