I believe with all my heart the colors of the American flag were not randomly selected but rather they were very carefully selected. After much debate in the Continental congress in 1779, the red, white and blue stars and stripes became the official design. Our forefathers who were very devout religious men, were not ashamed to acknowledge Christ and they were well aware, unlike poloticians today, that our nation was established and continues because of the mighty hand of our Saviour JESUS CHRIST. RED is for the blood of our Saviour divine. As He laid down his life on the cross. Our sins have been paid, we have joy sublime. Through his blood, we'll not suffer loss. WHITE is for his holiness and everlasting love. His sinless perfection so pure, As He makes intercession to the Father above. His righteousness surely our cure. BLUE is for royalty, honor and truth as He stands without blemish or spot. The only One worthy to reign on this earth. We'll praise you our King and our God.
