Blue Sky
Blue Sky – such a simple rhyme
We tried – to harvest down the rain
Got a feeling like I’ve been here before
Better late for the sky, than late for the door
You woke me when you whispered in my ear
Saying don’t turn away before the moment is here
An emotional slide, see the world from the other side
Big smile – a heart in overdrive
So fine, walking hand in hand
Got a feeling like love’s bit me before,
when you ask me “how long” I just stare at the floor
Words can’t drown out the pounding of my heart
And though it feels like an end, I know it’s only a start
It’s a feeling inside, like a walk turned to a glide
Night-time, a world no longer white
Stars shine, and all the world is mine
Got a feeling like I’ve been here before
Better late for the sky, than late for the door
You woke me when you whispered in my ear
Saying don’t turn away before the moment is here
All the world in one night, silhouette from the other side
