TAXES
I've got to do my taxes
I've been postponing for too long
The deadline is approaching
With the April 15 midnight gong.
I've got to fill out all those forms
From A to R to Z
I cannot wait until I'm done
How happy I will be.
I can't stand those taxes
They're neither cute nor funny
They're getting higher every year
And take up all my money.
I can cope with computers
And modems and faxes
But I can't cope with the IRS
And doing all those taxes.
I give some to the City
And I give some to the State
I give a lot to Uncle Sam
And I better not be late.
'Cause then there is a penalty
A quarter on the buck
And Interest on the interest
And then you're really out of luck!
If line 6 is larger than line 5
Then take the difference
And move it to line 53
That doesn't make much sense!
If line 8 comes right before line 9
You might just owe a fine
And if line 3 comes before line 4
You probably owe much more.
