I wrote the song from my heart about my own depression. I created the term ' murdering lights ' to describe those spring lights that make healthy people happy and some people want to kill themselves. You could say, oh well, they decided to off themselves but I say no, depression has murdered them.

I can't explain you depression. It's like another will in me.
Quit making these questions. I'm not into answering.

Murdering lights. Maybe this time. I'll somehow get out of this state of mind.

I've let everyone down again. Losing my job and my friends. Too tired to speak it's hard to ask for help.

Murdering Lights, what a title for a song.powerful unique and unusual as well as a compelling message about depression. I understand completely having to deal with a family member who had clinical depression and it is something that really never goes away but can be managed. Very tough to see someone you love get crushed by this illness. The elements of the song: the vocals capture your mind and soul. the music drives deep into your being. Loving the guitar, the monster bass and solid percussion. yeah, depression well, it is almost death by a 1000 cuts and living on the razors edge . I have seen many leave who did not survive this challenging form of mental illness. Appreciate your work TonyGirl, you got the stuff. the eYe
