Kathy Raven has performed her evocative style of blues-flavoured original music at festivals and clubs all over South Africa including Oppikoppi, Splashy Fen Rustlers, Blues Room, the Color Bar, and the Acoustic Café. She has also performed as support act for Crosby Stills and Nash, and Sean Phillips.

Kathy has had two tracks written with Jonny Blundell on South African Radio: Blinded by Desire and Fortunate Ones. Her current release is a solo CD, Loveseed, recorded live at the Radium Beer Hall in Orange Grove and mixed and mastered at One Big Room Studios in Pretoria.
Her band members include:


Pete Sklair (bass) - Pete currently also jams with Paul Hanmer and other jazz greats. He is the son of legendary jazz-man Sam Sklair.

Reuben Samuels (drums) - Zen master of the groove, Reuben is a sought after Rhythm man in S.A. and abroad.

Kathy and her band play a regular monthly slot at the famous Radium Beer Hall in Orange Grove on the 2nd Saturday of every month.

We're in the middle of recording, a really busy schedule right now, so can only promise to listen to your songs next week... we will.
