I'm a singer and a songwriter from Poland. I grew up knowing what my calling is and I've been consequently working towards my goals.
Before I'd started composing my own songs, I've been mostly focused on writing lyrics (also in English), starting at the age of 8. I performed in various musicals, which made me interested in acting and increased my preferences for changing my fashion style. In 2010 I graduated with a bachelor degree in music education. During that time I was a member of a prestigious choir Harmonia. During my master's degree in anthropology, I started acting in various TV shows and music videos.
Not only do I compose my own songs, but I collaborated with Polish rappers and jazz pianists and internationally, including Croatian band The Employees, Greek producer TtrueAR or Rick Cedana from France. It's a great way to improve my own skills and gain significant experience.
When it comes to music, I don't limit myself in terms of music genres or a particular style. I had contact with all kinds of artists, movie makers, fashion designers, musicians, actors, and they all made me realize that art is too beautiful for any kind of limitations. I love changing my style, I love experimenting in all fields, not just music. I feel most comfortable in pop music, but I try to sing rock, pop r&b or house and work on various types of songs.
I write my own lyrics, I mostly focus on the darker side of life, although I'm a very extrovert, talkative person with a positive attitude. Lyrics are my kind of therapy that helps me cope with negative emotions and it's also my way to show people that we all experience the same or similar things.
In life I just want to have fun and make others have fun with me and my music.
My goal is to to travel and share my music with the whole world, because music shouldn't be limited only to one country or nation.
Everyone needs a bit of music in their lives. In May 2016 I released my first EP ''Raconteur'' and currently I'm working on my 2nd album ''Odd Man Out'', which hopefully will come out in the first half of the year.
You can read the interview with me here:
the song about the battles we're going through in this century.
Born To Sing
Very personal song, but I also want to dedicate this song to all my fellow indie singers and songwriters - let's all achieve our goals, no matter how small or big they are, we are all born to sing.
Piano by my beloved and talented friend and pianist Karolina Kowalczewska - Chiara
As If I Never
This is the song I co-wrote with the Croatian band The Employees.
Unburden My Heart
Collaboration between me and Polish producer PIOTRZAQ. One of very few songs where I sing in Polish :)
Losing My Faith
Epicedium To Life
The instrumental version of my song to a Polish Poem "Student Without A Number'', although I'm planning to make an English version with my own lyrics, but not just yet. But the instrumental version is quite nice to listen to :)
It's a song written by Rick Cedana (music composer) and me (singer, lyricist). It's a song about being hopeful and not giving up on our dreams, no matter how tough it might be. I think it's one of the most optimistic lyrics I've ever written :)
The Childhood's Not Gone
5 minutes before midnight and saying goodbye to 2016, I found a coin. On the first day of 2017 I got inspired and composed this. I truly believe it's going to be an amazing year.
About being different from other people. About being unique, extraordinary, like someone out from this world.
My new collaboration with TtrueAR. It was definitely one of my favorite collaborations. We wrote 4 songs and it's one of them.
A song about self-discovery and finding one's path in life. The inspiration hit me just minutes after complaining about not having inspirations to write songs :D
Summer (Do You Miss Me?)
It’s been raining and been rather gloomy recently, and the weather inspired me to write this short instrumental piece
Bad Boys (On The Run)
Question: what happened in June '62? :)
Odd Man Out
Special dedication to all naysayers and non-believers who think we're not good enough or we can't make it. Their opinion is not good to follow it, but good enough to turn it into a song :)
It's a song about my fear of the night and the silence it brings.
I started writing this song about a year ago, but never managed to finish it, either because I had no ideas or too many ideas at once. The original version sounds NOTHING like the final version. It had full lyrics and choruses, but I finally decided to turn it into this piece.

Hi DeMonicka, thanks for your recent post on Fans at the pipeline, it made me think about your question and who is really listening to our music, i sometimes wonder that myself, perhaps you and I could start a listening group. or a station together, or you could jump start your own station and get involved with listening to other artists music and engage people that way and invite others to your page and vice versa......I have added your music to Atmosphere and will listen to more of your music soon.....maybe if you have time you could visit my artist page and check my music out. i am going to go about like i did last year and offer kudos to all nominees of Golden Kayaks cheers and all the best.....bryon
