Yup, most of my basslines are the Ric direct, although the latest ones are the Ric through Mr. Fearn's VT-15 channel strip, which is exquisite to my ear. My cover of Mr. Ison's "I Know A Good Thing" was a "first example" of that combo. I love the action, the slim neck, everything about that bass. Rock on!

Landed on your page by way of Tom O'Brien - saw that Gibson you're holding in yer profile pic and HAD to try to catch a glimpse so looked at yer pics, then saw Sean w/Rick and HAD to say - that's just like MY FAVORITE BASS (I only have two) THAT I'VE HAD AND USED ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY SINCE 1980!
Ahhhhh, I feel better now...

Hey Bob, I saw your note on my Super Songwriters station. I checked out your tunes and I am glad I did. I was blown away. You are a very talented musician and songwriter. "Melt Away" is my favorite. That's a big time song, man. Also really liked "Let Me Owe You Something." You've got real talent. If I had money I'd start a record label or management company and sign all you guys that should be signed and touring so people can hear you Hugh Hamilton, Phlegm/Conversation Suicide, Bob Elliot...the list could go on. Ah hell, maybe I'll hit the lottery someday. Stop by my page sometime and check out some of my tunes if you get a chance. Best wishes to you and keep up the great work! -JP
