There's a place I hang out in at in College Station on the North side of Texas A&M. Back in the day, all "Northgate" beer joints were just that, beer only. Duddley's Draw had Guinness on Tap and a tradition formed, as they tend to do in Aggieland, of slamming small glasses of Guinness, as a fill in for shots. For some reason these were called "Raws" (nobody seems to remember why). Unfortunately times change and the rules on Northgate changed and Dudd's brought in liquor, which changed...
