Sometimes I have been really good about keeping them, and I've tried to make that the habit, but I haven't always succeeded. Then the thought occurred to me, what promises have I made to the Lord? It seems to me that a great deal of issues we have are because we limit what God can do for and in us. He wants to truly free us from sin and fear of death, but we hold on to them like they are our security blanket. So we get so tied up with things that we can't be everything He wants us to be.
