Amateur Night
Ah ha....the dreaded "playing a dead-end gig in a dead-end dive" number dressed up as "Armed Forces" era Costello. Song recorded a while back that's been on and off my page a bit too often for anyone with good sense....anyway here 'tis again for you diggers of Nick Lowe, Graham Parker and 1978...

Closing Time
Kind of a throwaway rocker written this summer just after getting back from a very sedate holiday at the lake. Apparently on a subconscious level I'd had other things on my mind.

Everything Money Can't Buy (2008 demo with vocals)
Sad song about money and success ruining a relationship. I know of a kind chap here who said many nice things about this song and...wanting to play it for a friend discovered an inferior instrumental version had taken its place. I always felt bad about that. Here 'tis again and 'twill remain :-)

Dancing In The Spirit
This alternative dance/house song has a very unusual slant for this kind of music. It is a House music song with a fun but spiritual message.

I Don't Care
Here's my latest song "I Don't Care". I recorded the basic tracks live for the video, acoustic guitar and lead vocal. Then I added background vocals, bass and a second guitar. All recorded dry with no effects. As if I/we (all the me's) were all playing in the same room at the same time, with no frills. I eventually decided that the video didn't require any frills either. Just lil' old me playing my guitar and singing alone in my studio with no fancy edits or effects. In my heart I am really a...

Supersonic Morning
Cellos build to french horn that accumulates to produce an anthemic, rousing, beautifully moving song with very British sensibilities.
