Tony Adamo
Tickin Clock
About the album/track:
“It quickly becomes apparent that in the gray area between jazz, R&B and soul, Tony Adamo is? one of the top voices.” Scott Yanow, Author of the Jazz Singers

Tony Adamo
Miles of Blu
In his latest video and mp3 " Miles of Blu," Tony Adamo runs the voodoo down with legendary drummer Mike Clark (yes the drummer who played with Herbie Hancock back in 1974 on Thrust), and references to being in the middle of a happening jazz scene, tipping his verse to Miles' and Coltrane's "Giant Steps". Guitarist Steve Holman lays down a solid comping on this jazz trio's post-bop, with Clark sparking the track with great rhythmic ideas and Tim Ouimette superb trumpet playing.

Amateur Night
Ah ha....the dreaded "playing a dead-end gig in a dead-end dive" number dressed up as "Armed Forces" era Costello. Song recorded a while back that's been on and off my page a bit too often for anyone with good sense....anyway here 'tis again for you diggers of Nick Lowe, Graham Parker and 1978...

Closing Time
Kind of a throwaway rocker written this summer just after getting back from a very sedate holiday at the lake. Apparently on a subconscious level I'd had other things on my mind.

Everything Money Can't Buy (2008 demo with vocals)
Sad song about money and success ruining a relationship. I know of a kind chap here who said many nice things about this song and...wanting to play it for a friend discovered an inferior instrumental version had taken its place. I always felt bad about that. Here 'tis again and 'twill remain :-)
