If you combined the sounds of Prince, Queen, Guns n Roses, and Willie Nelson you probably wouldn’t expect to hear it on country radio. But, that’s exactly where Nathan intends his music to be heard. His diverse taste in music is just one of the things that sets him apart from so many other country artists. Raised in northern Illinois, you’ll also find no southern drawl, no wranglers and no rodeo experience in his background. But, don’t be mistaken, his sound is still all country.
Since 2005 Nathan has been dazzling audiences throughout the southwest with his smooth vocal tone and unmistakable smile. He has had the chance to share the stage with country artists such as Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Clay Walker, Eric Church, Ricochet, Kellie Pickler, Diamond Rio and countless others.
He began his musical journey in a small barn in northwest Illinois where his fathers’ dairy cows were treated to the sounds of Nathan trying to sound like every singer who came on the radio. Until one day his dad convinced him to sing it with his own voice and the rest is history.
Eight years of drum playing, countless hours of studying music performance and over fifteen musicals later, his sound and writing style is as catchy as it is pleasant to listen to.
Playing over 150 shows annually and putting out two albums in just over a year with no help from a record or management company are just a glimpse at his desire to get his music to the public. With the release of the latest album “Addicted to a Good Time” it’s only a matter of time before that desire turns into results.
