If you'd like to be included, let me know. Only artists who were on the old MP3.com prior to the confiscation by the evil Hillary Rosen and the Recording Industry Artists Association.
How much of the spoils of war actually ended up in the hands of the aggrieved artists? Zero... that's how much.
How much ended up in the hands of the RIAA, the major labels and one judge in New York City? All of it.
I'm sure I wasn't the only one who had issues with MP3.com, but they did provide a space for indie musicians to get their music heard. And the BB's there were alive with activity, shameless self promotion, conflict and caring.

Let me thank Lana Crowley for her help on this. She remembered more of us than I did and her willingness and energy have been invaluable. And she should not be blamed for my rant (see above)

 Father Time, like most of us, learned his digital chops on MP3.com. All of it was brand new and unexplored back then. FT earned his doctorate there, quickly figuring the whole scene out and filling the charts and the message boards. I hadn't heard this tune before and it's excellent.
