The Ataris are a four piece rock band hailing from Anderson, Indiana.
Their platinum selling album "So Long, Astoria" featured the hit singles "In This Diary",
"The Saddest Song" and their version of the Don Henley song "The Boys of Summer".
The Ataris are currently hard at work recording their currently untitled new full length album which will be due out in early 2010.
The album marks a return to the big sing-along choruses, massive hooks, and upbeat power pop anthems of their earlier albums "Blue Skies, Broken Hearts..." and "So Long, Astoria".
The songs are complimented by Kristopher Roe's singer-songwriter, storytelling style of writing, chock full of detail, depth and heart planted firmly on his sleeve. This is one band and album you definitely don't want to miss!
