Derek Olivero, guitarist,singer/songwriter,has been writing and playing music since age seven,Born and raised in brooklyn ny he has a creative edge to his music.Derek played his first live show at age 16 with his first band tempus with Dave d on bass and willy roll on drums 'He knew that this is what he wanted to do..in the early 90's along with Dave d they formed Outland With "Young Carl"and later tony on Drums and then Bobby G,REcorded two cds and toured the east coast until 1999. With his Chet Atkins Nylon String and a Gibson Les Paul, he moves across genres with fluidity and style. Derek has released two indie CDs with his band outland,He is presently working on an independent project,"CityHall" which is a Work in progress
