How many unsigned bands can say they’ve toured with rock icons Guns N Roses, Alice In Chains, Velvet Revolver, and Disturbed? The answer is one; Modern Day Zero. In fact, since forming in 2003, MDZ has accomplished much more than your average band. Their self-produced debut album, ‘Coming Up For Air,' delivered a #1 single (“Sick Inside”) on KPNT in addition to receiving significant airplay on numerous alt/rock stations nationwide. “Down”, also featured on ‘Coming Up For Air’, was included on EA Sports games NHL 2004 and NASCAR Thunder 2004. Their follow up album, 'The Wait,' released in 2007 (also self-produced) included the lead single, "Spit You Out," which was featured in the indie movie Lycan.

Although on an indefinite break as of Dec 2007 with each member moving on to various other projects, the band has not ruled out the possibility of a comeback.
