Singer Songwriter Randell Beck was born in San Antonio and raised on the high plains of West Texas in Levelland, located near Lubbock, an area etched into musical history as a Rock N Roll and Country hotbed that birthed such legends as Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, Mac Davis, JD Souther, and Joe Ely.


With this fact in mind, it’s no wonder that he grew up with a deep abiding love for singing, writing songs and playing guitar. Some might say that maybe there is something in the water, but either way it’s true that Randell Beck is a special talent; bringing the worlds of Americana and Country together with a pop sensibility that still rocks. Think a mixture of his hometown heritage, then add some old school Johnny Cash country, combine with The Eagles rock flair and top off with the sing along quality of today’s crossover stars like Keith Urban - and you almost have it right!


Randell has been performing in bands and solo throughout the country since childhood, filling the lead guitar chair for jazz, country, and rock bands, and has performed with national acts such as Country Caravan (SPC), members of Sixpence None the Richer, One Bad Pig, and the Nation. He is constantly recording and performing, both as a solo acoustic singer and as leader of the Americana/Country powerhouse Silvertrain with the NYC area serving as his home base. He has also been a Naval Officer with experience in special warfare, and has performed in various countries around the world.


Beck is not only a well known musician, he is also an in demand producer who has traveled the country and produced recordings for various independent musicians and promoted several concerts, including Fleet Week shows in Central Park for the US Navy. But these days, sounds like our lone star is focused on recording his own material, incorporating his Texan heritage into the aggressive New York scene, and creating the music that was born into his blood, something he likes to call – “Texas style, New York attitude”,
