Marty Brodell is a musician and songwriter from Saratoga Springs, New York (the home of the world famous race track). Marty started his musical journey at 8 years old on the piano. He wrote his first song at 10 years old. He has performed in various rock and acoustic outfits and has even soloed for a while playing cafes and open mic nights. Marty's musical influences range from Classic Rock to Jazz and Blues to Fusion and beyond.

	My Old Guitar A classic rock tune about old friendships gone awry. I finally got to use my 5 string bass on a tune and it seems to have recorded exceptionally well.		Classic and Progressive Rock
	Lucky on the Wheel A Country Rock tune about finding love at the roulette wheel in a casino. Why would I write a song about that? Who knows...Sometimes the weirdest things can pop into your head when you write a song. But, some nice twangy guitars sets the mood and motion.		Country Rock
	Fallen Bridges This song is a 4 part mini "suite" but don't fret, it's only rock 'n roll. Part 1 is cerebral lyric with some bluesy guitar. Part 2 is a fast paced musical journey of guitars and synths that hopefully propels the listener into an organized chaotic musical realm. (Wow, that was a mouthful of word salad.) Part 3 returns to the original theme but at a slightly faster pace and part 4 is a piano outro. Thank-you in advance for those of you who take the time to listen all the way through. 	Blue Malibu A classic rock style car tune done in a kind of modernized Beach Boys style (except I can't quite reach those high notes Brian Wilson sings!).		Rock
	The Flower Girl's Gone Missing A classic rock type tune that I wrote during the COVID shutdown. Images of deserted boardwalks and highways. It was a rough time mentally.		Classic Rock

	She Could Be Danger A good ole' rocker about all those "femme fatales" in the movies. You know, Bond girls, female heroines who are spies, agent provocateurs or tomb raiders, etc. We guys love 'em and you gals sometimes wish you were them. Just good fun and fantasy all around! 	It's You and Me This is a kind of Rock/Country/Blues ballad about a soldier ending his last mission and heading home to his significant other. While the soldier may be a hero in some peoples' eyes, in the soldier's eyes his/her real hero is waiting at home for him/her.		Ballad
