Hooray! I've been waiting to post this NEW song!!!
Glad to see you back, IAC!
I've missed you.
Not the least of which reason, because I finally finished mixing the second of the 2 songs that I recorded back in January, and really wanted to share it with you all.
"Break My Heart"
It's a true rocker: pure power pop, but with a bit of a harder edge. And the guitar solo is one of the best that I've ever committed to tape, I think. This one was fun as hell and it's been getting great response elsewhere.
Hope that you listen, like, and add.
And, if you REALLY like it, there are free download at my Bandcamp page:

I love you.
Welcome back into my life.

Very good lyrics! Love that concept of taking a negative and putting a positive result on it. The band sounds fantastic. Very good guitar work and the song has strong pop movements. This would sound so cool on the radio. Hope you get some play there.
Much Respect,
Stoneman

Thanks, Stoneman!
I'm very proud of the whole thing. Sadly, I don't think that this sound is getting much play on the radio at all anymore -- anywhere. Even college radio seems to have moved on from the whole power pop thing.
But I like listening to it!
And it seems like a few other folks like it, too.
It won't be a hit, but hopefully, it'll find some sort of an audience and bring those folks a bit of joy.
I appreciate you listening and I'm glad that you like it.

Todd ~ This is the best thing I've ever heard from you. You're on to something special. Keep plowing this patch of earth with these musicians and that sound. It's very fertile land.

Thanks so much, Richard! I'm so glad that you like it!
Thanks for the ear and for the feedback.
Yeah, I will be working with these guys for a while I think. The drummer is actually the same drummer that I've been working with for years, and the bass player appeared on a couple of tracks on Chicken On a Bicycle ("I'm Pathetic" and "Happy Days") and also on "You Wrote This Song" from a previous session. The rhythm guitar player—these are my first recordings with him.
But yeah, it's a pretty great group. And the engineer, John, is an incredible vocalist and can add the exact harmonies that I need, pretty much on-demand. Or, even sometimes, a part that I hadn't thought of yet.
Moving ahead, I think that these are the guys.
