Volume control issues?
when streaming an entire playlist (station, band page, etc), does each new song jump back up to full volume?
For me it does and it makes it really, really difficult to listen all the way through.
Anyone else?
Team?
Anyone contact you about this?
Other than that, this new player rocks.

I believe the 'jumping of volume' that you describe, only happens if a play list contains no tunes by 'THE JACK PADDLE COVER BAND'.
It is rare to happen upon a play list such as this, but they are out there...as you had the misfortune of discovering. A quick add by the station in question should resolve such a situation.
Glad I could help

HHHMMMM....Already on the play list ay!? Well it is possible that this particular station doesn't have enough of 'THE JACK PADDLE COVER BAND', playing.
That's partly my own fault though, haven't gone prime you see!!??....ummmmm....let me think for a minute. I'm just racking me brains for another reason for this problem...............
Nope....all logic is pointing toward there not being enough JCB playing.

We believe that's something that's a function not of the IAC player, but of the flash system being used, will hopefully be gone upon the next version being installed. However this is an issue for the support hotline, not for the pipeline.

"does each new song jump back up to full volume?"
I guess I haven't played with the volume enough to notice.
I can't get my player stop looping the same single over and over again -- quite annoying -- anyone else?
I like the old player better. Smaller footprint on my screen too.

Just wondering if it was a universal problem.

We know the looping aspect is a function of the flash player and have been told it will be gone in the next version.

Thanks Toby. I guess I shoulda brought it up when you posted about the new player but everybody was all glowing and happy and everything and I didn't wanna be a downer. But now you know that I prefer a plain player. (That goofy guitar can go anytime -- it pointlessly eats up space like a piece of consumer clip art, in my "not-so-humble" opinion -- I'm teasing not bitching by the way :-)
Thanks. We all appreciate you.

FYI, counting the ad space at the bottom of the old player, the new player is only a tiny bit larger than the old one.. It's kind of an optical illusion that it's a lot larger, due to the fact that it's so neon shiny. :D
You can also still choose a no-frills option for your export player.
