Meeting IMPeople
So, I failed to mention that I met Ken from Two Silo Complex over the weekend.
Finally got out to see his new band's show and, fuckwit that I am, I got there too late to catch his set.
But we did get to meet and talk a little bit and it was kinda awesome! Hopefully I'll actually get there on time the next time. But there WILL be a next time!

That was awesome that Todd came all the way out from Chicago to see us.
Lucky for us we have another Show at Silvie's July 20th at 9:30-10:15
It was too bad we could not really talk because once we got off stage the other bands were too loud you could not hear a damn thing.

It's just a personal thing but I'd hate to meet anyone from IMP in real life, it would be embarrassing (for me) for them to find out what I was actually like when I've spent so much effort trying to create an interesting online image :)

Rob -- you get me a gig down in NZ (one that pays for my trip down there) and I will be there in a heartbeat. It's actually on my bucket list of places that I want to visit before I croak.
And Verity, don't be so hard on yourself.
Me, I'm just a middle-aged working stiff with a mortgage on a house in the suburbs, a wife and 2 kids. Nothing interesting about me. I would love to meet you and talk about how boring we are.

I'd love to come to New Zealand its on my bucket list but not affordable.
Do I See a concert with Silverwood, Hop on pop, and TSC in the works?
That would be amazing.
Verity I agree with Todd your too hard on yourself it would be great to meet you in person. Trying to live up to expectations is a snore. Be yourself all will be well. I'm actually pretty boring in person just ask Todd!!

It's on my bucket list also. Gonna try to make it in a year or two. Not for a gig though. I will be coming to vacation at one of the resorts I have ownership (timeshare) in.

Wow --that sounds promising---we live at the top of the south island which is the middle of our country-----have a spare room and a studio---and yes we play live most weeks---doing Americana---our lead female singer is recently arrived from West Virginia and done some touring in Texas and Tennessee. Stoneman Spring & summer is best, September through to April.
Living in a Fantasy? Maybe !

Cool, I'll let you know as soon as my travel agent (my wife) has something solid in regards to reservations etc. Probably will be some time next year though Looking forward to meeting you face to face!
