Woke up with a completed song in my head!
Lyrics and all.
Or, at least the chorus for that song. I had to actually work on the rest of the thing, but I have now completed it. Just need to get the guys together to record the damn thing.
Oh... and need to make sure that I didn't unintentionally lift the melody from another song. That is something that I am concerned about, to be honest. It might sound a little too similar to something else. We'll see what my friends and bandmates thing before we invest too much into this.
Although, when I played it for my wife, she did cry. So that is a good sign, I think.

I love songs that present themselves in dreams. I used to remember those songs in the morning. Now I have to get up in the middle of the night to write them down!
