Chicago area: I'm playing a rare club show... November 13!
Do get your booties out to Berwyn, those of you in the Chicago area... and I'll try my best to get 'em shaking!!!!
9:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 13
FitzGerald's Night Club
6615 Roosevelt Rd.
Berwyn, IL
(708)788-2118
I'll be playing solo/acoustic (of course), but maybe I'll be able to convince Dave to actually sit down behind the keys for a live gig. You never know.

I would love that. I went to Mizzou and actually still have a few friends in the StL. area.
And if I can even get a talent buyer to talk to me, I can try to throw something togethere here!

Yeah... we have family in Chicago and Milwaukee... and friends in Madison. So lots of great reasons to road trip.
BTW, a while back you had written me via IAC private message, but I was only able to get into my message once... ever since, every time I attempt my private message link, it takes me to an error page. I really wasn't blowing off the email, just couldn't get to it. I'll try to reach you.
peace.

Sorry we can't get over to Chicago Todd--- BELIEVE you me, SOME-day--- If money ever comes are way, after 2-5 more YEARS of incredibly HARD work, I'll be tourin' all over.
KNOCK 'EM dead! But PLEASE - don't keep hiding that talent under a bushel--get your LIVE shit goin' -- don't forget to do this more often. For a family-man I'd suggest at LEAST 2 gigs a month.... my humble opinion.
ANYHOO.... Sad I won't be seeing you in action, but HAPPY that because of my wife's RICH dad, we get to go to London, England at the beginning of Dec..
--AND among many tourist-eee things, we get to see THe CODE, PAPA GEORGE and most likely RAVEN live.... Plan to chill for a bit over a pint & such with The CODE & Colin. This'll be the 2nd time we've visited before the big move in 2010.
ROCK on Todd, and have FUN too! -pHLeGm

It was fine. I had no 9V in my guitar pickup, so I had to stand in front of a mic for the whole time. Kinda awkward, as I'm not used to playing that way.
And I did not record, which was okay, as because of the above, it was not my greatest show.
Decent crowd, though (for me) and I did have a lot of fun, which is all that really matters at this point.

Yup. Fun is really what it should be all about. Life is TOO damn short!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and worked through the usual equipment hassles, that happen at MOST gigs; even WITH experienced sound people & such...
