Getting airplay on our local station?
Well, Hop On Pop just got a page up on the local "Alternative" station's Local Band satellite wb site. If we get a lot of votes (read: a High Rating), we're in-line for some solid, major-market airplay.
I know that KIAC is doing the same thing for us here, on the Net, but we're all just rying to get ahead as best we can, right?

Just head on over there, listen to the song (it's "Ashes On the Water" -- also on this site if you prefer to listen here), and (if you dig us) give us one of them big fat "10"s! If you don't, that's cool too. I'll still respect you in the morning.
Also, if any of y'all have a similar-type situation, don't hesitate to let me know. I'll give y'all a boost, too. We stick together and we'll take over the world!

Gave you a 9 Todd - well sometimes they don't count the highest and lowest scores if it looks too suspicious haha! - you've had 32 scores now - hope this boosts the average up XX

We're still trying to get the votes to get the airplay, so I thought I'd bump this back up to the front page to see if we could (please) get a little more help.

Just go to the web site and fill out the forms in the "LOCAL 101" section of their site. They'll ask you to upload your stuff and you get your fans over there to vote for you. You'll also be voted on by other listeners who DON'T know you, but getting your fans there will (obviously) boost your score.
It's pretty self-explanatory once you start clicking around.
Let me know when you get something up and I will gladly return the favor.
