Your favorite quotes from the film: "A Christmas Story"
A holiday tradition in my house for the last several years is to cuddle up on the couch and watch this brilliant film. Set in 1940's middle-America, it may not resonate as much with those of you who do not reside in or were not raised in the U.S., it should still resonate with you a bit... the main theme is universal, methinks. At least among those of us who celebrated Christmas or Hanukkah.
My favorite quotes:
•"In our world, you were either a bully, a toady, or one of the nameless rabble of victims!"
•"Damn hell. You say you won it?!?!"

It's says "Fragile" ... it must be Italian!
(It's a seasonal regular around here, too!)

I havn't seen that film Todd-but i watched Gremlins the other night and my favourite line was the blubbing Police Officer in a car watching the old lady on the gremlin-tampered stairlift flying thru the roof...."Whats happening?..Its supposed to be CHRISTMAS..."

The best quote I think is after the mother breaks the electric sex leg lamp and the dad is so infuriated that all he can say before he storms out the door is.......
"Not a finger!!!"

todd, et. al., I'll go with the more obvious quote: "you'll shoot yer eye out!"

Interesting fact about the movie:
Director Bob Clark also directed Porky's.
It actually kinda makes sense, as both films are unashamedly nostalgic, just in very different ways.

There are so many, but I'll pick this one regarding the leg lamp:
"Only one thing in the world could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window. "
