I know what's happening!!!
Familiarity breeds contempt.
We've been too close to each other for too long, methinks.
Mealsothinks that y'all don't hate each other so much as you just need to take a step back and realize that you are getting a bit too close. We've been hanging out here together for so long that we feel like we know each other too well... we're like siblings who fight because we have nothing better to do. Or old married people.
Let's breathe, people. Because we know that this is really a pretty cool place; a place where we can get heard. This is a place where the folks actually do listen to each other, not because we have to, but because we like to. So, let's try to keep that in-mind.
And that is my amateur psychoanalysis for the day. (Hey! I was a Psych minor in college!!!)
Now, flame away.

.I really am here for the music. I listen way too much probably and go overboard ,but I would rather listen to the artists here then talk radio or the crap that gets played on some terrestrial stations , but of course they are streaming live as well and occasionally i listen to mainstream Fm or such , because there are some decent indie stations left around here in Canada that have not been gobbled up by Clear Channel or Canwest and the like, I would rather though discover tunes here at IAC as they are so fresh and new and unfettered by the influences
( for the most part) of what the suits push from the labels and the MTV trash
So for me it is all about the music and my occasional posts will materialize when I feel the subject is of something I can weigh in on.

In all seriousness ... I would be proud to stand behind all of you, as your brother and your friend ... Yeah ... I might tell ya yer shorts are to tight from time to time ... but that don't mean I don't love ya ...
Hell even the Beatles didn't get along most of the time ... but what a gift that little family affair gave to world huh ?

Hop, these are good points and I feel it's unrealistic people can know each other in these forums.... a problem I've seen occur with repetition when individual's impressions lead to misunderstandings if people represent themselves to know 'truth' and feel they speak for others - I think this could be causing heartache and trials as I am looking over some of the recent posts on the pipeline today - I think your right, if people step back and realize you can't know all things in such environments is the key. Feel like a broken record with that bit of advise but it's all I can offer.
