NEW!!! songs up at IAC... welcome the Chicken.
"Here"
was the first song that I recorded for the album and is the first track on the album. A synth/punk/pop thing that I think is a lot of fun. People seem to like it, too. Might be the single.
"Come On, Let's Go
is a totally different kind of song a piano/strings ballad with accents of pedal steel (courtesy of Brad Sarno!) and backing vocals courtesy of Auset! Probably not a single, but certainly one of the prettiest things that I've ever written.
The full album is actually up for sale at iTunes now:

But the official release date is still 2/16.
Still, I hope you dig the little samples that I put up for you here now.

Thanks for all the kudos, all.
I'm sorry to bump my own thread, but I just wanted to express my surprise that "Come On, Let's Go" caught on so much quicker (and so much more) than "Here".
I was seriously expecting that "Here" was going to be the first "single" (as much as those things really exist anymore). But, the fact that the ballad has gotten so popular, so fast is making me re-think this whole tack.
It's funny how things never go just how you expect them to go.
It's a nice surprise, though. Because I really do think that this song is one of the prettiest things that I have ever written. And I am proud of the arrangement and performance and all that.
Thanks again for listening.
I will not bump this thread again. I promise.

Todd - Composition, production, performance are all top notch. These are two great songs, totally opposite of one another but both fantastic in their own way.
You've come a long way and I'm very proud of you!

Thanks!
Did I mention that the record is now for sale at iTunes?

Boy, did that sound tacky!?
But, anyway, it is... and there are a lot more songs on there that (I think) are just as good, but sound nothing like those other two.
Maybe I'll throw one more up here in a little bit, just to prove it.

"Here" is such a cool trip. When that Punk guitar kicks in it is such a nice flip of the switch.
"Come On Let's Go" is lush in harmonics...and the Auset harmonies. Wow.
Top notch, Brother...I'm saving my allowance (since kwistmas).
