I PUT UP A THIRD SONG: so, which is "The Single"?
I just added a third (and final) Chicken... song to my page. The three tunes that are there are all in the running for the one that is to be "The Single".
At various times, I have had different people INSIST to me that one of these three is, in fact that single. So, of course, I now have no clue.
Can you help me out?
Which one should I push to radio and stuff?
Thanks

I think "Come On, Let's Go" is the most commercial song of the three. Good ballads seem to be very popular these days (ie: James Blunt) and this ballad is VERY catchy and very heartfelt. That major to minor chord change gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. It's authentic and real. That's what hits are made of. Good luck, Todd. Your dedication is inspirational. I think I'll have to sell a CD too this year!

They're all three good songs, Todd, in different ways. Here" is fun andgoofy in a They Might Be Giants kind of way. The ballad, "Come on, Let's Go" is the best song IMO - love the viola and lap steel - but "I'm Pathetic" is the one I could here on the radio. It's just got a more traditional approach.

Hi Todd,
All thee tunes are great, but as I mentioned on your site I love "I'm Pathetic." To me it has an original sound but belongs on radio. I also think it ould be a nice movie soundtrack type tune. The song is appealing and original.

Love ... "Come On, Let's Go" ...
"I'm Pathetic" is a pretty cool tune ...
"Here" ... sing-song melodies ...
So Todd ... I could go WAY, WAY more in depth about each of these fine tunes, my opinion of arrangements, mixes, sounds, silence and the taste of different colored chickens.
... but I'm only going to focus on one thing here ... A single choice, from three marvelous tunes, as a single ... Well ... it's a good thing I have no brain, because this is an absolutely no brainer to me ... :)
I love all kinds of music ... but if I have to say which is one of my least favorites, it usually anything with an over grungy guitar ... and yet ...
Here, the grungy guitar just absolutely grabs me ...
Normally this type of synth would annoy the hell out of me ... and yet ...
Here, it is just absolutely magical ... !
Here, the Vox ... is GREAT !!!
Here, makes me do the Head Bob !
Here, makes me smile ... :)
Here, is a FANTASTIC piece of ART !
Here, is FUN !
Here, is ..... HERE !
Here, is something that is stuck in my head !
Here, is something I would buy !
Here, is something young & fresh !
Here, taste like flesh !
Here, could have arrived by a CHICKEN ON A BICYCLE !
Here, Is far and above the rest as a single IMO ...
... but I admit ... my opinion is based on the five friends opinions that live in my head ... :)
You GO Todd !

Sam,
That just made me smile bigger than anything that I have read on the internet in a long time, maybe ever.
Thanks for that!
Therein seems to lie the dilemma – "Pathetic" seems to have the numbers, but "Here" seems to have the passion behind the (smaller) numbers.
Maybe that answers my question?
And thanks to all of you for listening to my little tunes. I love you for it, and you know that I am listening to you all as well, right?
