Happy Thanksgiving
I have gone through so many different things this year that I never thought possible. Most of them were bad, especially that dang 'ol cancer drug, catching COVID, losing my hair, losing my taste, losing my smellers, and more and more on top of that. I wrote a lot documentary/protest songs as my jaw dropped open in disbelief at Battleground America being broadcast nationwide at a burning theater near you.

Regardless, this is an emergent happy, yet to be fully realized full all out happiness, but palpable nonetheless. I am so grateful for getting my smellers back, quitting smoking, having taste again, no more cancer drug, and my hair has returned so I can once again remember what vanity looks like slanting East, it has cracks without repair.

Here is to all you fabulous musical people on this site! Thanks for creating your songs!

Mark

Whoa, sounds like you had a hard go of it like the rest of us this year. So blessed to hear that you have come through with your smellers intact. By the way, 2020 will go down as one of the smelliest of all time so you didn't miss anything worthy. Wishing you a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. Sending the same out to all my friendly creatives. Keep Rock'n!

Congrats on your recovery and thank you for sharing your inspirational and hopeful story.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and to everyone here. If we all engage in positive thinking we can overcome any hardship. I’ve had more than my share of misfortune in my life but it’s been punctuated with just enough amazing and wonderful experiences to help me be a happy
survivor. I look at everyday as a kind of thanksgiving. I’m grateful for my wife who is the
best human being I’ve ever known. I’m grateful
for our son and daughter in law who are the lights of my life. I’m grateful for the ability to make music and to the great listeners here at IMP who give me so much support. My message
to anyone who takes the time to read this post is
NEVER LOSE HOPE! It’s been raining all morning and just as I wrote this post the sun came out. Really!!! The forecast said 100% chance of rain all day and now the sun is shining.
I guess there’s a message there. Have a blessed
day.
