Desert Island...
If I was on a desert and could only have one cd (with a music player of course), it would be a toss up between Aja and Gaucho by Steely Dan. If I were able to smuggle and ipod, it would be loaded up with all Steely Dan albums, "Morph the Cat" by Donald Fagen, Weather Report, then Steely Dan bootlegs
The benefit of stowing away with Steely Dan is you would be able to enjoy EVERY STUDIO MUSICIAN ever. Specifically? Bernard Perkins characterized by his "Purdie Shuffle" on the tune "Home at Last" or Larry Carlton's guitar solo in "Kid Charlemagne."
Why Weather Report? i like the chorus on the bass. Of course who could live without Jaco Pastorius's skills?
A little Killswitch or Unearth wouldn't hurt either...for a workout mix...
What would you take?

That's a toughie. I can't think of a single album that would suffice. However, an mp3 player filled with the full Eno catalogue would be good. Everything from his early stuff to his ambient collabs cover a variety of styles and would be endlessly entertaining.

If your going to smuggle an iPod, you could probably fit a good % of the 'IAC catalog' on it. Then your island would be a home from home :-)
If I had to take just one track, I'd probably take Sally Strawberry's Come Back Too Bed as it's literally my most listened too track at the moment, (and has been for about four months).
If I couldn't get that then one by Auset would be a good second best ...

I'd take Jumpstart My Rocket.
