First Blog, Osaka
We've just joined this sight, and I'm not too sure about the blog rules and what's allowed or not, but hey... this is Rock 'n Roll so here we go.
We're based in Osaka, giging regularly in the Amemura area of Osaka, and other places in the Kansai area of Japan.
My-T-Hi formed in 2003, and started giging in 2005, the first gig was on Christmas Eve in Kadoma.
Tok kun (drums), is also a DJ at Radio Daito FM, and often plays our stuff on his show. They even used to use a part of our song "Get Naked" as a jingle.
Ta chan (bass) also plays a mean harmonica, but we can't get him to do it live (yet)
Moray (guitar, vocals) ... that's me... I also play drums for a couple other bands in Osaka.
We did a couple DIY CDs which you can get at a show, just come up and ask the band after the show.
If anyone reading this is in the Osaka area, get in touch and say hi or something. There are a lot of good music events going on in Osaka, so it could be a interesting to swap info or even do some shows together.
Although we don't play jazz, the upcoming free Takatsuki Jazz Street festival is well woth a visit for anyone close by.
