Thanks for the memories
Thank you for giving me my third #1 song in Classic Rock: "War No More." which is also #9 in The Overall chart. I'm really thrilled about this because I don't usually write protest songs and I really worked hard to try and make the message resonate as intensely as I was feeling it.
I look upon my three years at IAC as a true blessing because it helped me through the pain of my brother's death and kept me working on my music. This site continues to be a source of strength and inspiration for me and I am half way finished with a new CD that I believe will be the culmination of my life's work as a songwriter/producer/musician. I don't think I would be at this point in my life if not for IAC and the many friends I've made here.
Speaking of friends who are inspiring and supportive, congrats to Denise Cascione for making the KIAC Hitline with her terrific version of "Get Happy". I get happy when I listen to her sing!
Thanks also to Rob Barrer who has been extremely supportive to me and my music over these past three years. He is a true asset to this community. I'm happy to say that the song I wrote in honor of his late daughter is now #2 in Classic Rock. It's called "Silver Wood". Rob is an artist in every sense of the word in several mediums and is an amazing station manager.
Rob's bio was such an inspiration to me. What a talented and adventurous family he has!
There are many other people here who I am so grateful to for their support and they all know who they are! Bless you!

Richard --
Nothing happens in a vaccuum, and I have loved listening too and placing your music,(and many others here) because i believe that giving and recieving are part of the same continuim---and your advice and encouragement have equally helped me, in real life---you will know what I'm talking about
Your perfectionist attitude to recording has also been a learning curve which is helping us at silverwood strive a little harder to get that special sound we want, not just put it up when it sounds OK!
I feel sorry for those musos who struggle along with their music, head down bum up, never taking the time to rub against their fellows and give them a hand up when they need it----Nature tells me this is a hollow path!
I am sorry that from time to time i offend some peeps---I have always been reactionary, and sometimes when gravity is needed---i just do the opposite!
In real life i am just the same----it gets me in trouble!!
Silver Wood and War No More #1 on SAD SONGS and Warriors for Change
respectively
Thanks my friend

Chandra - the KIAC Hitline is not a station. Click on "Pipeline" and you will see your song and pic promoted there on what is considered the "front page" of the website. Congrats!
