Pay per view concerts
A few years ago I saw a pay per view live concert of The Rolling Stones on a big screen tv with great speakers. While nothing can replace seeing a band in person, it was a fantastic experience! I’ve seen the Stones live about a dozen times and would prefer to see them that way but this was close second In terms of excitement. I’ve also seen them on a 50 ft IMAX screen with Dolby Surround Sound at a movie theatre. I hope that someday ppl will be able to gather once again but in the mean time I’d love to see more pay per view concerts on tv and eventually in movie theaters too. Great bands play all over the country and the world and it’s not possible to see them all. But pay per view would help in that endeavor. It’s the second best thing to being there and sometimes second best is better than nothing.

PAY PER VIEW post
Thanks for bring this up Richard, like Larree's post It is something I guess we are going to have to accept and get used to for the time being
Blue Frog Studios in White Rock BC ,where I live and where I recorded my first album and did up a number of small shows myself and numerous recitals as well as performing with the bluevoodoo at this venue
Blue Frog have done this type of thing for a number of years, they have a great selection of bands from the past tribute bands ,but cant host due to the Covid thing, but people can access their whole library of people bands on demand they have had Jefferson Starship ( with a couple of originals) , Maria Muldar to name a few have appeared there and more well known artists
these are a few of the others, not all big names but I have seen a number of concerts there and man it is great, a small venue, with amazing sound design and awesome acoustics https://www.bluefrogstudios.ca/bluefrogtv.htm Thanks again for bringing this forward, a great post!
