GK Awards
I got the ok from Scott to share these thoughts about the GK awards:
Songs are eligible for nomination if they were posted between May 11th 2023 and May 30th 2024. If you want to, you can post the titles of the songs you posted during that period here on the pipeline to make it easy for members to find the songs. Of course, links to specific songs would make it even easier! Let’s have a big turnout and make this the biggest year ever for the awards. Good luck!
(Don’t forget to indicate the genre of each song!)

While I did not release any stuff of my own, I did have a hand at mixing the new Deefons track. This disqualifies me from nominating it I believe, but anyone with an appreciation for pop punk / power pop should consider this one.

“I Can Be Your Stone” Rock, Alternative Pop Rock
Is my only offering, released at the wire end of May. I have been somewhat dormant for years now, but Ivsm now fully awake :) It was an exercise to get used to my new Recording set up.. I am using Harrison Mixbus 32C. I have a backlog of songs to record… Hope to release at least four or five more this year.
Appreciate all the support over the years. Glad to see familiar faces… it’s been almost 20 years since I first posted here Never won a Kayak, been nominated a few times….always appreciated that.

Of course, Norm has done his usual masterful compilation of the GK Contenders which can be found on the front page as Scott has indicated. But it doesn't hurt to take the initiative with your songs by putting them on the pipeline. The more folks that see the eligible songs, the better.
