This is most beautiful and full of emotion.
is this you singing Richard ?.
Whether it's you or not there is great feeling in the vocal and that's an amazing key change in the middle and it blends very well back into the verse.
I feel John Lennon so much in the feel of this song.
This is a great song written by someone that i love and written for someone else that i love.
Thanks for writing it as it is an absolute joy to listen to.

Thank you so much for all the kind words, Ray and for adding the song to your stations.
I work very closely with the singers to get the performance I want and they are all good friends of mine
who put their hearts into the songs because of our mutally supportive relationships. I write songs that couldn't be sung by just one person because because they require very different types of vocal styles. Having the flexibility to have different singers on my songs liberates me from having to write for just one voice. I have some new singers that will be working on my bext batch of new songs which will be much more uptempo and harder rock with lot's of lead guitar. These sad songs of mine are starting to bring me down! :-( Time to rock! :-)

Well your explanation of your working method explains to me how much it sounded like. Your vocalists must have so much respect and understanding of you.
What a precious thing it to be able to sing and i have been under some pretty heavy medication this week and been unable to sing but this is only temporary and i thank God for giving me the ability.
Anyway Richard i am so proud and so happy to see your skills grow and i am so happy that i noticed these skills right from the start.
Keep on writing and being yourself and stay happy.

I like this song a lot Richard. Shades of, The Dream Academy, and of course Lennon.
But with a very fresh approach.
cheers!

Richard
It is a wonderful tune---the vocals are perfect, and it makes us proud !!!
I will discuss this in greater depth via our email !!
You should have plenty of plays on day one---i reckon I have listened 20 times and others in the family /friends circle have been emailed the link----I intend to "buy" it as well so we can have it on our car stereos and ipods.
Yesterday I was away down at our "bach" where Kats grave is and I could hear it in my head the whole day-----i guess in time I will want to play it as part of our live set--I want you to tell Russ how much we love his vocal track ---but the genius is in the 'detail'
Unless one knows our music really well ----there are many touches that you have included
---briefly-----the storm /flood, the falsetto, backing vocals, words from our songs
"living for today etc" , celestial choir, dawn chorus, accoustic guitar, percussion track (tambourine?) the bridge is unique!---the whole production is risk taking IMO----and could easily have been too much? but no---it makes a great ,dare I say it
-----Popular song -----I think it will have a life of it's own
thank you so much for your talent and caring!!
your friend
Rob

I like this One Richard, as noted the guitar sounds very good, and the melody is sweet. I do hear shades of Lennon. Good One :)

I don't know why it took me so long to listen to this one, but it is an excellent song.
The Lennon comparison is pretty accurate. Love it.
