How many more songs will it take?
I remember when i lived in San Diego that the art of becoming a musician is to be very good at your instrument and make a good impresion. That was about 12 years ago and it seems like a short bit that i thought that. You then after crossing that path of rebelion in music that your ability to write songs where really what it's all about.I now write so many songs that i wonder if anybody really listens to the song or just look at it as the sound and the money it can make, you become insignificant to the ear and presence. But the great thing about the web is that it is going more to the musicians put harder to become what you love. You question if you should stop trying to do music as even a part time thing but,you want to,you need to keep doing it.I willl continue to write an record music, and i do thank websites like IAC for doing whats good and getting it out there more to the public. If there is anything you feel about what i said? You ofcourse can write to me here or on myspace.com/nocomusic or ronnymuga@yahoo.com . Thanks for listening and i will try to do more things with this page so we can enjoy eathothers music.Cheers!Ron

Getting heard IS what it's all about, Ron.
And yeah, I think that we all go through the same dilemma on a daily basis. (Just check out Hugh's thread about when to give up, that's on the front page right now, too.)
We all think that we're pretty good at what we do (and a lot of us are), but yeah, it's that last step -- getting heard -- thats the real mindf#%k in this racket.
Keep at it. I know that I, for one, am planning on going over to your page and checking you out.

It will take at least 62 more songs, 64 if you don't count reprises.
