ALL SHALL PERISH~!
super cool deathcore/metalcore band, one of my favorites.
Saw 3 opening acts before ALL SHALL PERISH, The bands were all great.....
Then comes the headliners! I was so excited to finally see CHRIS STOREY play!
He's this amazing guitarist, incredibly technical and just unbelievably blistering player..
well, turns out THEY FIRED HIM! and replaced him with this 18 year old looking kid named Jason Richardson...
We found out right before they went on, it was this tiny club called 'THE COMPOUND" and I'm standing in front of the stage where I expect Chris to be playing and out comes this 18 year old looking kid who starts setting up this ENGL double stack, I thought he was a tech!
But no, he was the new Guitarist!!!
I was thinking there was NO WAY this kid would be able to do it....
He KILLED!!!
He was so fast and so smooth, he hardly even looks at his guitar! (a musicman 7 string)
It was amazing!!! This is incredibly technical stuff, the most technical of the deathcore/metalcore bands I've listened to
This kid was Easily as good as Chris, which is really saying something.

I thought you were against capital punishment .... :)
I actually like some metal ... but not a lot of it ... mostly because I like to crank music up ... and it's pretty hard to crank something up, for me, when the volume already starts at 11 ... and most the time their is NO SPACE ... it's like everyone in the band is so concerned with being heard, that everyone one, plays every part, (and even parts that aren't there), as loud and as raunchy as they can ...
I do have some hearing left ... and a few brain cells ... and I'd like to keep them for awhile longer, so ... I rarely search metal just for the fact that one has to wade through hundreds of songs before I can find one that is listenable ... most sound worse than finger nails on chalk boards ...
