Hey!! that looks good
I like the page layout.
nice idea

Do you mean the front page?
Looks a little more spartan and lean - which I assume was the goal. Must have been a slow load time for some people.
The "what's new and hot" is a nice touch. Would be interested to know what qualifies as "new and hot" and how that is determined.
The rest of the page is the same, but less of it. What was a display of the 30 newest songs, are now a display of the 10 newest songs. Less time to be on the front page.
Who would want that?
So, I imagine it was done for efficiency purposes - faster loading times for the front page.
Just my guess.

*LMAO* (looking at the "what's new and hot" and seeing Anna Lovelis again). She must have a contract with God or something.
She was front page featured at artistlaunch 365 days a year there as well.
Thought I recognized the name. LOL

My attitude? Really?
I was just pointing out what I enjoyed out of the list. Not to say the rest of it isn't listenable, but I've heard a lot of it already and that's what I found that I found listenable, being easily bored and all. Perhaps you predicate your prediction of my attitude on what your prejudices of my attitude predict. Or something like that. I do kind of wish the feature would feature less predictable prejudices.
No offense intended.

Hey! Who threw the token guys in on the IAC (It's-All-Chicks) New & Exciting list?
I am NOT dazzled by the arbitrary promotion of a handful of "artists" at the expense of all the other features.
Tally my vote as a "Nay".

Check out the list and comments below. The count is:
female artists: 5
mixed bands: 5
male bands/artists: 4
How is that "all chicks"? And "token guys"? I think a lot of people would disagree with your characterization.
That is not some thrown-together list. Check out the creds. Then maybe you'll want to revise and extend your remarks?
Little Boots - female artist, U.K. #1 BBC Sound of 2009
Allison Bordlemay - female artist
Stealing Venus - mixed band, Golden Kayak winners
Ana Lovelis - female artist, Golden Kayak winner
The Vines - all male Indie-spirited major label band, Australia
Peeler - all male, Golden Kayak winner and Legends of IAC member
The Maheekats - male/female duo
Eve's Protege - all male, hard rocking band, Australia
Schnauser - all male group, Eastern Europe
Under - mixed band, KIAC Big 50: a #1 song and a #5 song
The Blueflowers - mixed band, a song in current Big 50
The Joys - mixed band, Canada
Penny Nichols - female artist
Simon Wilcox - female artist, KIAC Big 50: a #1 song

Hey Fade, do you work for IAC? It appears so... If so, thanks for all the good work.
One suggestion, Can "whats hot" be reduced in size just a bit??? I never felt so small. :)
I have no problem with it, and its ok to bring a little more focus on music to bring people in, but I think the other features have been diminished too much.....
It is kind of alienating to me... of course that would change if you put a song of mine on it... :)

I agree that reducing the number of new songs, and also reducing the number of topics is a negative move. ... I liked it better how it was before.
