thanks for listening - now hear this
Thanks for stopping by - it means a lot to me. The music on the site right now (May 2008) is from my last album, which was released in 1997.
I'm working on my 4th or 5th album (do cassette tapes count?), funded in part by a grant from the fine folks at the Arts Council of Hillsborough County.
"Not In The House" should be out by July 2008 - I'm very excited to be working with Robert C. Constable, Jr., who is letting me play guitar, bass, piano, even toy piano, and raid the fridge. Mi hermano y bassisto for the past 2 decades, Ray Villadonga, has already laid some bass tracks, and David F. Rogers has been working incognito on some accordion and other tracks. Some he even deletes before I can hear them.
If I can afford it, I'll post an advance track as it becomes available. My favorite so far is "Nebraska Avenue" about a colorful Tampa neighborhood with a 7-foot transvestite, a Pakistani drive-thru and pit bulls.
