Its possible to record an album in 7 days.
Hi, my name is Ranj Singh and a couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to get a publishing deal and record an album. We were only given 7 days of studio time, but we managed to record 11 songs using no click or loops or samples. Man that was a blast. It's no different then playing live with your band and then pressing the record button. Get tight as musicians, and lock in your vocals, and anythings possible.

Take care,

Ranj.

Nice one Ranj - our 1st CD (5 tracks) we did in 25 minutes (inc Vocals!)
Mixing took an hour and mastering also about an hour!

Our 2nd CD took 30 hours recording and 15 hours to mix and master!

Yup.. . Nice to hear from ya Ranj, and ALWAYS great to hear from The Code! Everyone I've ever interfaced with on being prepared to record, says ya gotta be tight and ready to go.... 'cause USUALLY yer on the clock! We did our last 5 tracks in two VERY busy days. Unfortunately, while we're on the way up, recording for hours & hours 'til you get it just snappy for the label, is just NOT possible. But y'all KNOW this, man.

Roger Miller did it several times .... and there have been many others as well ....

So I say yes ... it's possible to record an album in seven days ... and a very good one at that ...
