What I've been up to lately...
Work, girlfriend, music and football... you know, the usual. Got a new one called 'One Shot'. It's some rap rock funkiness ala 311 with a sweet guitar solo by Grega Habic... what more could you ask for? I also used an octave effect on the rhythm guitar, first time I've tried that. Check it yo.

Always great to see you, Jesse.
Checking out the new tune now.
EDIT:
Just listened... not a fan of the genre, but that is some very fine work within that genre. And, I cannot believe that you used to think that you couldn't sing. Your "radio voice" translates so damn well. I am jealous.
And the octave effect is perfect.

Yeah, I kinda wondered if this song was a bit dated for lack of a better term, since nobody really does rap/rock stuff anymore, and it was ruined by groups like Limp Bizkit. Hell, I can barely stand rap anymore to be honest. But I'll always be a big fan of early 311... they did it right, and they were unique. But to me, that part of the song just called for it, and it was a fun experiment... hence the name 'One Shot'. I wouldn't expect more tracks like this.
