Just realized I never uploaded my latest tune...
... and sadly it's almost been a year since I recorded it. But you know, then you get busy with life and everything, work, relationships... and now I'm busy remixing and upgrading several songs for a new album, time gets away from you pretty easily. This song is one of the upcoming tracks in line for said album, but this is really just a demo as it will be upgraded for the record, particularly in the area of drums. Here's a copy and paste link, sorry about that... it's been too long since myspace and these forums and I don't remember any html code anymore. The song is called "Something To Hold On To", and has the always fantastic Grega Habic on lead guitar.

Also, I've uploaded a couple of the remixed and revamped tracks for the upcoming record, including "Down The Line", which you can download on my artist page as a single if you want...

And of course, "The Circus Left Town", which I now feel has FINALLY found it's completion after almost 3 years. That feels good. This track is also available for download on my artist page...

Listening now, Jesse.
But I know what you mean about the crickets. Seems like there is too much out there competing for an ear. Like this whole music thing is pretty much useless.
But, I like what you do.
(EDIT: And your cover of "The Yummy Song" is still my favorite cover version of any of my songs.)

I know you do Todd and I appreciate that. You've always been around and that has not gone unnoticed. It is also pretty easy to get lost in the internet sea of "indie artists", which, lets be honest, now includes every dope in the world who can run a DAW and play a few chords or put a few samples together... but this particular website is definitely not the best place for up and comers and/or hopefuls such as ourselves. (No offense IAC and IAC lovers, but there just aint much going on here, period. Not much traffic.) But I do like the fact that I have some old acquaintances looming here who still might give a bit of a fuck about my tunes, and the streaming quality is pretty much unparalleled, which is pretty cool.
Oh man, The Yummy Song was a lot of fun... it's a damn shame I didn't keep the original wavs for that, I could sing it way better now and upgrade the drums to sound like actual drums. That cover was what basically got me started on singing vocals, or at least made me think I had a shot. Thanks for letting me do it!
Oh and I hope you have success with your new record. Keep doing your thing man, I know sometimes it feels like there's no point because nobody cares or notices, but I think most of us can agree that it takes a lot of luck to get anywhere in this business. If you aren't on ReverbNation yet Todd, I HIGHLY recommend it... IMHO it is THE best one stop shop music website for indie artists that I've come across and provides all the promo, merch and distribution tools you'd ever need to get yourself going. No, not all of it is free, but a lot of it is inexpensive and we all know you gotta spend money to make money. I pay $5.95 a month for a ReverbNation Press Kit which allows me to submit my bio and material to all kinds of musical opportunities ranging from licensing opps to possible rotation at internet radio stations, online blogs, interviews and reviews... many of which are free to submit to as long as you have a Press Kit. Might be worth your time to check it out.
