False Start
Seriously.
Have I got your attention yet?
Aside from streaking I've done everything within reason to provoke a listen or two. If you could see me right now, you'd see I was flailing my arms about and yelling quite loudly.
"PICK ME! PICK ME!"
Of course I'm having some fun.
So I guess while I've got you here, I'll tell you about the NEW False Start. Many of you have added it to your stations, and now it's WAAAY cooler than it's former self. Grega has once again graced my track with his presence, and this time he really outdid himself. It's some beautiful work and some of the best of his playing I've heard if I do say so myself.
Check it out here.
I really hope you enjoy this one!

....
Well, to be honest I very rarely check out promo posts - If I say why I'll doubtless get flamed!
Love the beginning and a very cool and surprising and refreshing end. Nice track and yes, the guitar player is showcasing his talents.
There seems to be an unwritten rule which says that it's frowned upon to just post promo blogs and not participate in all the other stuff that gets discussed on the Pipeline.
Well, seeing as I do 'contribute' occasionally I'm now gonna bump my post about my version of SuperPuss's song "Goblins Theme"!

The first thing that came to mind was, man this would work well with some lyric. The other thing was, man this would also work well as backgroun "theme" music for TV or a film.
Some nice things going on. Thought the electric guitar could come back 2 db in the mix, it's a tad outfront for me....but PLEASE don't listen to me as my hearing is totally shot from too much drumming over the years!
Good luck with it Jess

RR, I know what you mean. That's why I have to mock myself a bit with this post. I post on other blogs quite often, but this is like my 3rd or 4th promo post in a row.
Thanks Andy!
And Larry, I played with the guitar level a bit and probably finished it up to quick. I usually have to mix things down 2 or 3 times before I'm happy with the end result. I'll have to tweak it a bit more and see what happens. I also think a vocal would be cool if done right, but I also like it how it is as well.

This is good stuff. I dunno if you've already tweaked the guitar volume but it sounds right in my ears.
Vocals could add to it, but the scribbly guitar is so tasty it might distract from it. Wish I could do that.

Stegor I was checking out your music, that's some pretty unique stuff you got there. Really liked the first one, how quirky. It really does do a pretty good job of replicating the experience of surgery.
Larry you were right dude, I dropped the lead a couple db in the mix and I think it sounds much better. Thanks!
